William W. Rung

William W. Rung, 77, of Trout Run, passed away Saturday, January 7^th, at his home.

Born December 13, 1939 in Loyalsockville, he was the son of Walter J. and Fannie M. Rung.

On July 12, 1958 he married Percella Snell; together they celebrated 58 years of marriage.

He was the owner of a trucking company.

Mr. Rung was a founding member of Plunketts Creek Twp. Fire Co, he was a lifetime member and served as Chief for many years, He also was a coach with JB trucking softball team.

Surviving in addition to his wife Percella, are his sons;  Ralph and his wife Ramona, of Muncy, William L. of Trout Run, Wayne and his wife Shirley of Cogan Station, Bruce and his wife Mary of Avis, he was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Agnes Ruth in 1967. Also surviving is a sister Lula Bryan of Barbours, a brother Robert Rung of Barbours; two grandsons, two granddaughters and one great-grandson.
