Tony Wood

Tony T. Wood, 59, of Covington, passed away Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at his home surrounded by his family.

Tony was born October 24, 1962, the son of Richard and Luella Erickson Wood.

He was a 1982 graduate of Scranton State School for the Deaf.

During the Tioga County Fair, he could be found participating in the Demolition Derby, something he looked forward to every year. Tony was known as a “Jack of all trades”, he used those skills in helping everyone.

Tony is survived by his mother Luella Wood, siblings; Anita (Doug) Thompson, Annette (David) Thompson, Aleta (Alan) Wheeler and, Arletta (John Rice) Wood, special twin nephews, Bryan and Terry Williams, several other nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews, and his dog Sadie.

He was preceded in death by his father Richard Wood and a brother Terry Wood.

A private viewing and funeral service for family was held at the Freeberg Funeral Home and Cremation in Blossburg.
