Theresa Kathleen Rittell Kingsley.
On the morning of December 28,2024, secure in her faith, and trusting in her journey, our Angel took flight passing peacefully from her earthly home. Born in Duryea at the home of her Uncle James and Aunt Anna Brennan on May 21, 1934. She was one of seven daughters of the late James W. and Adeline M. (Bartuska) Rittell.
Theresa met her partner and life companion, George, in high school. They married February 11, 1956, sharing 68 years and raising four children together.
Theresa is survived by her devoted husband, George. Daughters and sons-in-law; Sherry and Bruce Vargson, Marianne and David Culver, and Julia and Remo Williams. Grandchildren; Jeffrey and wife Tiffany, Todd and wife Casie, William, Alexander and fiancée Kaylie, Rebekah, Adam, and Inde. Great-grandchildren; Mason, Ryder, Xander, and Bryce. Sisters; Anna Price, Lucille and Butch Watkins. Sister-in-law Bertha Kingsley. Also, several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her loving son, Mark H. Kingsley.
Services will be as follows; Friday, January 3, 2024, from St. Michael's Catholic Church, 106 N. Washington St. Canton, PA 17724 visitation will be held from 9:30 A.M until time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11A.M. A recitation of the Rosary will be held during the visitation. Interment will follow at St. Michael's Cemetery.
A luncheon will be held in the basement of St. Michael's Church following the burial.
