In Loving Memory

Sarah Pequignot, 71, of Blossburg, passed away peacefully with her loved ones at her side on Sunday, July 5, 2026, at UPMC Williamsport.

Sarah was born on October 31, 1954, in Sewickley, Pennsylvania, to William and Elizabeth Toole Napolitan.

Sarah married Alden Pequignot on September 1, 1978. They shared 45 years of marriage until Alden’s passing on November 16, 2023.

Sarah was Baptist in her faith and was a member of the Hillside Rod and Gun Club.

She loved spending time with her family and friends and had a special affection for dogs. In addition to caring for her own dogs, Sarah groomed many beloved pets through Sarah’s Dog Grooming business. The dogs she cared for loved her in return, especially when she offered them Cheerios from her pocket as a treat.

Sarah also enjoyed watching Chuck Norris movies.

Sarah is survived by her daughter, Selinna Pequignot of Blossburg; her granddaughter, Savannah Welty of Blossburg; and her sister, Becky Thomas of Florida. She is also survived by her nieces, Patricia Plato and Amanda (Robert) Murphy  of Florida, as well as a special niece, Sawyer Murphy of Florida , special nephew Logan Plato of Florida . In addition to her husband, Sarah was preceded in death by her brother, Richard  Napolitan of Texas, and her sister, Winnie Kelly of Georgia.
