Sandra L. (Hulslander) Roupp, 78, of Arnot, went to be with her Lord Friday, April 9, 2021 surrounded by her family at home.
Sandy was born December 30, 1942 in Mainesburg, the daughter of Winfield and Virginia Lee Hulslander.
In 2001 Sandy became a member of the First Baptist Church of Blossburg. In the same church in 2005 she married Ross Roupp, he survives and lives in Arnot.
She was a member of American Baptist Women, Mansfield Women’s Bowling League, and Arnot Sportsmen’s Club.
As an Avon representative she would meet and became friends with many people.
Sandy had many enjoyments in her life, a few of them being: Canning, which she learned early in life, dancing, listening to KC101 “Golden Oldies’, sending cards which all had special stickers from Sandy’s large collection, taking daily walks with Ross, and her cooler filled with water or tea which she had with her at all times, she also took great pleasure in watching her several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great grandchild.
When Sandy walked into a room, it would light up with her smile.
Surviving in addition to her husband Ross are her children; Harry (Carol) Marbaker, Barbara (Wayne) Decker, Duane (Kelly) Marbaker, Brian (Wendi) Marbaker, Fred Rote, and Tom (Jessica) Rote. Step-children are; Rodney (Karen) Roupp, Kenneth (Mary) Roupp, Timothy (Laura) Roupp, Gerald (Eileen) Roupp, and Kathleen (John) Gibson, several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild, a brother Bill Hullslander, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Sandy in death were her parents, her siblings; Pat (not only her sister, also her best friend), Jim, Bobby, Wayne, Terry and Janice.
Family and friends will be received Thursday, April 15, 2021 at the First Baptist Church of Blossburg from
2:30 -4:00 P.M. A memorial service will follow at 4 P.M with Pastor Pat Parsons officiating.
Sandy’s favorite color was purple, therefore, feel free to dress casually and wear purple.
Graveside services at Arbon Cemetery will be privately held.
