Rowena Shedden

Rowena Shedden, 84, of LeRoy, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 7, 2024.

She was born February 19, 1940, in Sayre to Brenton and Marlea Pepper Bailey.

On June 9, 1957, Rowena married Harold “Sonny” Shedden; he preceded her in death on November 10, 2019.

Rowena took great pleasure spending time with her family; she enjoyed her flowers and cooking and relaxing with a good book and doing word search.

Surviving are her children, Robin (Manley) VanValkenburg, Sylvia (Avery) VanValkenburg, and Tom Shedden. Surviving grandchildren include Alicia (Bill) Harris, Asti (Travis) Tillotson, Manley (Bryttani) VanValkenburg III, and Brittany (Kyle) Borden, also 10 great-grandchildren and by a special niece Phyllis Jones.

Rowena was preceded in death by her husband and a daughter Connie McClure.
