Percella Rung

Percella Rung,78, of Trout Run, passed away Monday, December 20,2021 at UPMC Susquehanna.

Born in Hillsgrove on March 24, 1943, she was one of four children of the late Ralph and Agnes Shaddock Snell.

On July 12, 1958, Percella married William W. Rung, together they shared 58 years of marriage until his passing on January 7, 2017.

Percella had many accomplishments in her life, she was full of pride of obtaining her GED at the age of 60, she was a student in the first EMT class held in Lycoming County, she went on to help initiate the Plunketts Creek Ambulance Service in Barbours, Pa.

Surviving Percella are her sons; Ralph (Ramona) Rung, Muncy, William L. Rung, Trout Run, Wayne (Shirley) Rung, Cogan Station, Bruce (Mary) Rung, Avis, an infant daughter, Agnes Ruth preceded her death in 1967. Also surviving are a sister and a brother, a brother preceded her in death.  Two grandsons, two granddaughters and two great- grandchildren survive.
