Oliver "Ollie' Litzelman

Oliver Litzelman of Liberty passed away September 15, 2013.

“Ollie” was born December 15, 1930 in Cogan House the son of Oliver and Helen Maneval Litzelman Sr.

He graduated from Liberty High School in 1950.

He was a log contractor for many years. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and was a big sports fan.

“Ollie” loved home and family; he and his wife Edwina lived in their Liberty home for 60 years; they were married for 62 ½ years.

 Surviving is his wife Edwina Urban Litzelman, who he married March 25, 1951; a daughter Deborah Litzelman  Berstler, grandson Kevin Berstler, granddaughter Kristine Berstler Patterson, grandson-in-law Randy Patterson , great-grandchildren  Nathan Patterson and Brandon Patterson, grandson Michael C. Litzelman, granddaughter-in-law Jenny Litzelman, and great-granddaughter Kelsie Litzelman in Alabama. Surviving brothers include Dan, Dale, Richard, Terry, Rolan, Frank, David, and their families; surviving sisters are Gayle Stryker and Ethel Confair and families. Son Mark H. Litzelman preceded his Dad in death in 2010, also by brothers; Budd, Bill, Darcy and Virgil, by sisters; Echo Litzelman and Ann Eccles.

Friends may call Saturday May 17, 2014 at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg, from 1p.m. until time of memorial services at 2p.m. with James Avery officiating. Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Liberty.
