Mary Etta Walburn

May 11th 1955 - December 12th, 2025

On Friday evening, December 12th, 2025 at approximately 5:30 P.M. Mary Etta Walburn closed her eyes on earth and opened them in Heaven. Mary passed away at Troy Community Hospital. Mary spent most of her time being a mother - hen to the ones she loved and being a “Big Sister” to close friends and family of hers. She would have given the shirt off her back for anyone in need and an ear to listen when in trouble. Mary was a firm believer in the Lord Jesus Christ and attended Calvary Alliance Chapel for a long time until health issues caused her not to be able to go, but that didn't stop her from getting into the bible every day and praying.

       Mary is survived by her daughter Jennifer Smith, Her step sons Jerry Walburn, and Joey Walburn. Grandchildren: Anthony Smith, Chelsee (Jason) Esaias, Rebecca (David) Smith. She is also survived by her Great Grandchildren: Malachi, Eliana, Paisley, Ashton Esaias, Bodhi and  Coralline Raup, along with Several Aunts, Uncles, Brothers, Sisters and Cousins.Mary was preceded in death by her parents, along with many siblings, Her daughter Wendy Moore,and her loving husband Joseph Walburn.

        The Family would like to welcome everyone who knew Mary to a Funeral Service at First Baptist Church of Troy  on Friday December 19th with the viewing at 11:00 - 11:30 and service to follow.  The Freeberg Funeral Home, Located at 120 N Williamson Rd, Blossburg, PA 16912 has been trusted with the arrangements.

        Memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the First Baptist Church of Troy.
