Mary Lou Isaacson

Mary Lou Isaacson, 91, of Blossburg, went home to be with her Lord, Saturday, November 30, 2019.

Mary was born, at home, in Liberty on October 5, 1928, one of twelve children of Fred and Flossie Repard Kreger.

On October 16, 1948, in Liberty, Mary married Edwin “Zeke” Isaacson Jr., he survives.

Mary was an LPN, having worked at Blossburg Hospital and Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro.

Mary and Zeke enjoyed going to Myrtle Beach and spending winters at their Florida home.

She was a lifetime member of Siloa Lutheran Church, Morris Run, and The Eastern Star.

Surviving in addition to her husband, are three sons and their wives; Edwin and Mary Ellen Isaacson III, of Pottstown, James and Valerie Isaacson of Blossburg, and John and Debora Isaacson of Windfield. Eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews also survive. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, her son Randy Lee Isaacson, and eleven siblings.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 3^rd from 2-4 p.m. at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg.   Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 4^th from Siloa Lutheran Church, Morris Run  where friends will be received from 10a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. officiated by Rev. Sandra Olson. Interment will take place in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
