Marie A. (Nelcoski) Kirkendall
Heaven gained an angel on Thursday, May 20, 2021.
Marie (Nelcoski) Kirkendall, 86 years old passed away peacefully at her residence in Langhorne, PA after a brief illness.
Born in Arnot, PA on March 21,1935, the daughter of Frank and Antoinette (Stempeck) Nelcoski. Marie went to North Penn High School and later met the love of her life Jack W. Kirkendall whom she was married to for a loving 34 years until his passing on October 5, 1994.
Marie worked at Meridian Bank in Langhorne, PA as a manager until her retirement where she remained friends with many of her co-workers for years. Marie loved spending time with her family and reading or Pogo were her favorite hobbies.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and sisters; Gladys Dahlgren, Celia Wasowicz, brothers; Stan (Betty) Wasowicz, Daniel (Roberta) Nelcoski and Francis (Lori) Nelcoski, grandchild; Chae (Cox) Kirkendall.
She leaves behind two Stepsons; Allen (Debra) Kirkendall and Larry (Wanda) Kirkendall , a special Niece Marianne Bartholomew and many other Nieces, Nephews, Grandchildren and Great-Grandchildren.
She will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
Per her wishes there will be no services. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Blossburg, PA beside her husband.
Memorial contributions may be made to any Diabetes or Kidney Associations of your choice.
