Llewlyn (Pete) Homer Parker

Llewlyn (Pete) Homer Parker, age 94, passed away quietly on October 10th at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. Born November 24, 1920 to Gordon & Ruth (Sheffer) Parker of East Point, PA., he was the oldest of 3 children.

He is survived by his wife, Venita Parker of Wellsboro, PA; daughters Carolyn Weaver of East Berlin, PA and Sharolyn High of Phoenix, MD and stepchildren Dana Husted and his wife Brenda, Roseville, PA.

He was a proud grandfather of Chad Ostrom and wife Jenny and Kyle Ostrom of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Hebe and wife Kara of Camp Hill, PA. Eric Hebe and wife Julie of Malvern, PA, Joseph High and wife Jennifer of Leesburg, VA, Patricia High of Manahawkin, NJ, and Christina Gregory and husband Todd of Jacksonville, Fl. And Bobbi Jo Philpot and husband Jason of Somerville, TN. He is also survived by 9 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his daughter, Janet Ostrom, his sons-in-law, Harry High and Charles Weaver, his brother Gerald Parker, his sister Geraldine Breitenbach and his 1st wife Myrtle Holcomb.

Friends will be received at the East Point United Methodist Church on Thursday, October 15, 2015, from 12 to 1:00 p.m.. Services to follow with The Reverend Thomas Harmic officiating. Interment will be at Friedens Cemetery in Liberty, PA.
