Lee A. Boyer, 60, of Liberty, died due to a construction accident Wednesday, December, 3rd, in Pottstown.
He was born in Pottsville November 1, 1954.
Lee married Melissa Youmans on September 13, 2003.
Lee served his country during the Viet Nam Era with the United States Air Force.
He was employed by J.D. Eckman Inc. as a roadway supervisor.
He was a life member of Robert F. Snyder Veterans of Foreign Wars Post # 6755, Liberty, a regular member of William B. Wilson American Legion Post # 572, Blossburg, where he was a past Commander, also a member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club, Red Run Rod and Gun, and Ironheads motorcycle.
Lee enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, hunting, fishing and riding his Harley. Lee had an infectious smile that made everyone around him feel better. He was quick to bring humor to any conversation and always willing to lend a hand. With every encounter and every goodbye, you could expect a big grizzly bear hug or a firm handshake from Lee. He was a man of his word who loved his family beyond words and provided for them with a strong work ethic that he also instilled in his children.
