Karl J. Wickman, age 62, of Blossburg, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, December 12, 2025.
Karl was born on October 13, 1963, in Blossburg, Pennsylvania, the son of Donald and Joyce Nybeck Wickman
On July 6, 1985, Karl was united in marriage to Kimberly O’Conners. Kimberly survives him and currently resides in Blossburg. In addition to his wife, Karl is survived by his father, Donald, of Morris Run; his daughter, Susan (Bryson) Wilson of Wellsboro; his son, Karl (Kallie) Wickman of Blossburg; his sister, Elaine Wickman of Morris Run; and his brother, Gary (Lisa Pettitt) Wickman of Blossburg. Karl was preceded in death by his mother and his brother Ronnie.
Karl was a loving grandfather to Hayden Wilson, Aurora Wilson, Jack Wilson, Eleanor Wickman, and Jace Wickman.
Karl was previously employed at Ward Manufacturing, where he dedicated 42 years of service.
Karl was a life member of the Blossburg Volunteer Fire Company. He was also a member of the Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post #167 of Morris Run, the Hillside Rod and Gun Club, and the Arnot Sportsman Club.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing, cooking Bar-B-Q style, and spending time with his family and friends. Above all, Karl deeply loved his kids and grandkids.
Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 2 p.m. until 5 p.m. at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg; funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Pastor Candice Chase officiating. Interment will be made at Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
