Joyce Wickman

Joyce Wickman, 79, of Morris Run, passed away Saturday October 2,2021, at the Gate House, Williamsport.

Born March 25, 1942 she was the daughter of the late Albert and Alice Brooks Nybeck.

On August 4, 1962 Joyce became the wife of Donald Wickman, he survives and resides in Morris Run.

Joyce attended the Siloa Lutheran Church in Morris Run.

She enjoyed picnics with her family, camping, and traveling to Minnesota to visit relatives. Her favorite music was country but she adored Elvis. Above all she cherished her grandbabies.

In addition to her husband, Donald, survivors include her children, Karl (Kim) Wickman, Blossburg; Elaine Laudenslager, Morris Run; and Gary (Lisa) Wickman, Blossburg. Surviving siblings are Sandra (Rich) Bord, Morris Run; Donald Nybeck, Palmyra; Joseph (Mary) Nybeck, Canton and Vernon Nybeck, Morris Run.

Grandchildren include, Chris (Lindsey) Wickman, Rachel Smith, Alyssa Roupp, Susan (Bryson) Wilson, Karl (Kallie) Wickman, Courtney Fontenot, and Eric Meeker and by 11 great-grandchildren.

Joyce was preceded in death by a son Ronald Wickman in 1969, a granddaughter Melanie Wickman in 1992 and siblings Fred Nybeck, Richard Nybeck, Raymond Nybeck, Carol Lucas, and Mary Alice Smith.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, October 6th at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg from 4-6 p.m.  and on Thursday October 7th from noon until time of funeral service at 1p.m officiated by Pastor William Baker. Interment will follow in Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
