Joyce Upchurch

Joyce Upchurch,88, of Shortsville, passed away Friday, December 3, 2021.

Born in East Beckley, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Emery and Helen Ruyon Esept.

She was the widow of Leslie Upchurch.

Joyce was a member of El Bethel Fellowship in Osceola.

Joyce enjoyed all aspects of outside work, going out to diner, and especially making people laugh.

Joyce is survived by 4 children, 8 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband were 2 children, 2 grandchildren, and all her siblings.

Family and friends will be received Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg from 10 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. officiated by Pastor Larry O’Dell.

Interment will take place at Fairview Cemetery, Holiday.
