Joseph Daniel Swinsick

Joseph Daniel Swinsick, 85, of Blossburg, passed away Saturday, October 24^th at his residence. Born January 1, 1930 in Morris Run, PA. he was the son of Felix and Sally Bombaski Swinsick.

Joe retired from Ward Manufacturing as a machinist. He was a member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club, Arnot Sportsmen Club, and Wings of Eagles Discovery Center in Horseheads, NY.

Joe enjoyed spending his time discovering old mining equipment and airplanes of the past.

Survivors include his twin sister Marie Thompson, Blossburg ,and is nephew John Heffner, Addison, NY He was preceded in death  by his brothers; Leonard Swinsick and Alzy Swinsick also by his sisters; Veronica Nowak, Agnes Wieczorek, and Pauline Heffner.

A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10 a.m. from St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Blossburg.

Interment will be at St. Joseph Cemetery, Morris Run.
