Jean M. Parker

Jean M. Parker, 88, of Blossburg, passed away Wednesday, April 28,2021 at her residence.

Born in Morris Run on April 19,1933, the daughter of the late Thomas and Rose Sterling.

Jean graduated from Blossburg High School and Mansfield University with a B.S. in Music Education where she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and Lambda Mu.

She also obtained a M.S. in Education from Elmira College.

She taught general music and directed choirs in Johnson City and Corning Painted Post District for many years.

Jean was a member of Holy Child Parish in Mansfield.

Predeceased by husband, Clifford, and sister Mary Elizabeth Retorick. She is survived by brother-in-law, Richard Parker and many special nephews, nieces and cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated Wednesday, May 12,2021 from St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Blossburg at 11 a.m. with Rev Bryan Wright as celebrant. Interment will follow at Arbon Cemetery, Blossburg.
