Obituary
Harold “Poncho” Andrews, of Arnot, passed away at home with his loving family at his side on July 27, 2023.
Born September 18, 1947 in Blossburg the son of Fred and Emma Andrews.
On May 11, 1974 he married Patricia Harzinski, they shared 49 years of marriage.
“Poncho” was the store manger at Arnot Building Supply for 43 years.
He was Methodist by faith, also a member of Wild National Turkey Federation, Hillside Rod and Gun, and Arnot Sportsmen’s Club.
“Poncho” loved spending time with his family; son Michael, daughter-in-law Alyshia, and grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, and Ethan. He enjoyed hunting, especially turkey hunting, loved his “Red Sox” and going to Sprint Car races and spending his mornings with his friends having coffee.
Survivors include his wife Patricia of Arnot, son Michael (Alyshia) Andrews, grandchildren, Olivia, Jackson, and Ethan Andrews, 2 nieces, 1 nephew, cousins Bonnie and Linda Andrews.
Family and friends will be received Saturday, August 26, 2023, at Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. Memorial services will follow at 12:30 p.m. with Pastor William Baker officiating.
A lunch will follow at the Arnot Hall.
