Grover Cleveland, 98, passed away at Broad Acres in Wellsboro, PA on Sunday, March 29, 2026.
Born February 18, 1928, in Covington, PA, the first son of Sanford “Pete” Cleveland and Doris Brockway Cleveland.
Grover is survived by brother Wilbert “Pete” Cleveland, nephew David (Kim) Cleveland and many nieces, nephews, cousins and church family members and friends.
Grover careers include many years at Ingersol Rand in Painted Post, and very many years of devoted service to his hometown, Covington and beyond.
His contributions to and membership in local organizations have included Grange, County Historical Society, Covington Community Center, Mansfield Food Pantry, Shriners. Masons, as well as Putman Township activities
He has been a long and strong member of the Covington Church of Christ since 1947 and played many roles in supporting and repairing and also in providing music over the many decades.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 10 a.m. until 12 noon, followed by services at 12 noon in the Covington Church of Christ. Interment will follow at Gray Cemetery, Covington.
