Franklin “Frank” C. Moore 82, of Blossburg passed away Tuesday, November 1st at his home surrounded by his loving family.
Frank was born January 8, 1940 in Blossburg the son of Franklin Woodrow and Mildred Florence Apgare Moore.
On November 4, 1961 he married the former Florence “Gail” Levanowitz, she preceded him in death on March 12, 2019.
Frank served his country both in the U.S. Marines and the U.S. Army.
Before Frank retired, he was employed as a truck driver for B&D Transport.
He enjoyed fishing with his son-in-law Eddie and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include his children; Ada (Timothy) Young, Blossburg, Debra (Shaun) Donahue, Blossburg, Kimberly (Eddie) Lucas, Morris Run, and Michael Moore, North Carolina; sisters, Mary Ann (Ed) Vermylia, Millerton, and Betty Jean Curtis, Hawaii; brothers, Freal Moore, Knoxville, and Charles (Amy) Curtis, Virginia; eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Private services will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
