FRANCESCA TROUTMAN

Francesca Troutman, age 75 of Williamsport, PA passed away at her home on July 26, 2024.  She was born on April 4, 1949, in Blossburg, PA, and was the daughter of the late Francis and Berneda Jerzak Skolny.  She was the wife of Robert (Bob) Troutman of Williamsport, PA.

She enjoyed long walks with her beloved dog, Faxon, cooking, crocheting, playing mahjong with the ladies, spending time with friends and family, and relaxing in her Mebane, NC retirement retreat which provided an escape from the harsh mid-Atlantic winters.

She was passionate about education.  She earned a bachelor’s degree in secondary education - mathematics from Indiana University of Pennsylvania before earning a registered nursing degree from Corning Community College.  She then pursued a master’s degree from Marywood University in Public/Health Administration and retired as the assistant dean of business and computer technologies at Pennsylvania College of Technology (Penn College).

In addition to her husband, Robert (Bob) Troutman, she is survived by her son, Benjamin Morley, and daughter-in-law, Krista Morley.   Friends and family are invited to call on Saturday, August 3, 2024, from 1-3 p.m. at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg.
