Esther "Sue" Cobb Obituary

The world lost an astonishing woman. Esther (Sue) Cobb, 63, of Williamsport passed away on February 17, 2025. Born and raised in Williamsport, to the late John Cobb and Lenore (Wright) Cobb on July 17, 1961. Sue graduated from Williamsport High School while being a young mother. Soon after graduating, Sue opened a local craft store, allowing all to see her many talents, rare pieces & printed t-shirts with her own original quotes. Sue then went on to a more professional career, starting with the Lycoming County Courthouse/Juvenile Probation and later retiring from the state in 2022. No matter what is said, it just doesn't sound enough. To describe Sue is impossible without using words like fabulous, extraordinary and amazing. Saying her name is easily accompanied by smiling. She was five-feet of happiness with spectacular fashion and gratifying humor, she was the life of the party! Sue was an incredible Mother, taking pride in her family; as well as being the first to offer assistance - whether it be driving to doctor appointments or running to Weis, Sue would certainly rise high on any occasion. Sue's smile was very contagious and her laugh was the greatest sound to hear. She was her own lady luck at the lottery, but we were all much more lucky to have her as part of our lives. An amazing cook, taking pride in her big meals; texting pictures and delivering her platters to many friends and relatives. There are countless qualities that make Sue the wonderful person she is, but most importantly, was the unconditional love she gave anyone and everyone; leaving them with delight in any-type of day they might be having. Everyone who met Sue, loves her, cherishes her talks, appreciates her thoughts, and embraced her presence. She gave it to you honestly, but she was genuine. She will be truly missed and loved by all who knew her during her short time on earth. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Charlene Cobb; and niece Felicia Colley  Surviving other than her mother, is her one and only son; Arnell Cobb and his partner Melissa Hunter  Grandchildren; Daquona Davis, Jaren Hulbert, Akayla Cobb, Nadia Cobb and Javien Cobb. Tracy Cobb nieces & nephews Danita Wilson, TheodoreIII, Miranda & Jordan Cobb. Jason Cobb & Timothy Colley.
