Edward Charles Zuke of Blossburg passed away June 5, 2025, with his beloved wife and family at his bedside after a courageous battle of Pancreatic cancer and Liver cancer. Edward was born August 16, 1962, to the late Charles and Lois Zuke of Blossburg.
He actively served with the US Navy aboard the USS Midway. Following he joined the Naval Reserves; He was very fond of the Blue Angels and the Cheap Trick Band. Edward loved his Steelers, Edward also worked at Ward Manufacturing for 31 years.
Edward leaves his cherished wife Katherine Pond Zuke, who he married June 27, 1992. They had two children: Katelynn Zuke Mattison (Dylan) and Edward Zuke Jr. His grandsons, Charles Mattison, Seven ’de Mattison, Kaleb Zuke Weirback, and Joshua Zuke Weirback, sister Marie Zuke Gaylord (Mark), sisters-in-law Beth Allston (Wayne) and Pam Miller Zuke, brother James Zuke, brother-in-law David Pond. Edward is also survived by his father-in-law George Pond, cherished nieces, Latoya Allston, Tyeshia Allston, Kristen Robbinson, Chloe Pond, Karina Quartaro, Kayla Quartaro, and Rebekah Zuke. Two nephews, Wayne Allston Jr. and Noah Pond. Two Great Aunts, Retha Watkins and Grace Pond. Several great nieces, nephews and cousins. Two dear friends Ray Osgood and Charles Winnie, along with all the aides and hospice staff.
Family and friends will be received Tuesday, June 10, 2025 at Blossburg Baptist Church from 10 a.m. until 12 noon. Funeral Service will follow at noon. Military Honors will be accorded by Tioga Honor Guard. Interment will take place in Tioga Point Cemetery, Athens, PA.
