It is with heavy hearts to say Donna M. (Hosler) Flannery passed away after a courageous battle against cancer on December 14, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Pottsville, PA on March 24,1956, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Lois (Rubright) Hosler of Mill Creek, Pottsville, PA. She was a 1974 graduate of St. Clair Area High School. Donna worked multiple jobs over the years. She belonged to the First Baptist Church of Blossburg. The heavens became a bit brighter when Donna crossed over into Heaven. Donna was a true Christian woman; always had a kind word and sweet smile for everyone she met. She was a caring woman, had a corky sense of humor, loved the latest fashions, crafts, sewing, decorating, and took great joy to use her gifted talents to gift everyone with her treasures. She was a devoted wife and mother. And had such unconditional love for all her family and friends. To know her was to love her. She will sadly be missed by every life she touched. Heaven has truly gained an angel.
Surviving is her husband Jeffrey Flannery, Morris Run, sons; Jeremy (Kim) Flannery, Wellsboro, and Joshua (Michele) Flannery, Texas. Grandchildren: Jeremy, Madalynn, Dyllan, Kody, Logan, and Lily. Brothers: Edward G. Hosler, Pottsville, and Robert H. Hosler, Ashland. Sister, Kathy (Jeff) Holley, Pottsville, Bonus sister, Tammy (Coleman) Logan, Berwick, mother-in-law Nancy Flannery, California, brothers-in-law: Mark (Wendy) Flannery, Long Boat Key, Florida. Mike Flannery, Ohio. Aunt, Carolyn Wire, Schuylkill Haven, PA., nieces, nephews, several cousins and her fur baby, Precious.
Special thank you to neighbors, Linda and Duane Anderson, friends Brenda Main and Florence Martino, for all their help through her journey and all the caring staff from hospice. Services will be held at a later date. Donations may be made in memory of Donna to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
