Diane Parker

Diane Parker died December 3, 2014 at Soldiers and Sailors Hospital at age 67.  She was born on September 4, 1947 in Blossburg, PA – daughter of Raymond & Marion Stanton.  She married her husband, Philip, in 1969 and enjoyed 45 years of marriage.  They had a son and daughter. 

Diane was a lifelong member of the Blossburg community.  Everyone who ever met Diane will agree that she loved to visit with and provide for people.  She was most happy when she was helping others.  She loved camping with her family and friends, baking goods especially on special occasions and during holiday season, and drinking coffee and shooting the breeze with friends.

Diane is survived by her husband, Philip Parker of Blossburg PA, her sister and brother-in-law - Patricia  and Dr. Nicholas Borrelli of Rochester NY, her sister-in-law Betty Stanton of Westfield PA, her sister and brother-in-law - Helen and Kenny Nickerson, her daughter and son-in-law – Melissa and Michael Ford of Corning NY, her son and daughter-in-law – Chris and Lisa Parker of Arnot PA. 

Diane is also survived by six grandchildren - Kaela Parker, Derek Seeley and Nicholas Seeley of Arnot, PA and Lauren, Jason and Ethan Ford of Corning, NY.

Diane is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews – Paul Richard Stanton of Florida, Lori Wood of Knoxville PA, Shiela Earl of Sabinsville PA, Susan Borelli of Virginia, Kristin Belt of Kentucky, Steven Manwaring of Georgia, Jeanie Stocum of California, Michelle McIntosh of Covington PA, Annie Philips of Blossburg, Timothy Black of Blossburg, John Kenneth Nickerson of Blossburg.

Diane was pre-deceased by her parents Raymond & Marion Stanton, father and mother- in- law Philip and Lena Parker, brothers Raymond and Richard Stanton, sister Gloria Manwaring and nephew Roger Black.

 The family will receive friends December 27, 2014 from 12:30 p.m. until time of memorial services at 1p.m.  at the Freeberg Funeral Home.
