Dannah Louise Kegler, 66, passed from this life to be with her Lord and Savior and spend eternity in heaven on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. She was a resident at the Green Home in Wellsboro. She was born on April 14, 1949, in Wilmington, Delaware. She was the daughter of Richard W. and Helene E. Kegler, both deceased She is survived by a brother, R. David (Joanne) Kegler of Bethlehem, Pa; aunts Ethel Dearfield of Jefferson Hills and Lois Brier of West Mifflin. She was preceded in death by two aunts Norma North and Hilda Joseck, and an uncle Harold Williamson. She is also survived by long-time friends Bobbi Hess and Shalane Hamblin who each cared for Dannah with love and compassion,
She lived in the Pinnacle Towers for many years where she had many friends that would come and visit. Dannah worked with computers in her early years before being diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in her 30's. She spent the rest of her life in a wheelchair. Even though she was bound to a wheelchair, it never deterred her from greeting her family and friends with a big smile and cheerfulness when they visited her. Dannah enjoyed all of God's creation including flowers, birds and dogs. She will always be remembered for her joyful personality and her collection of many penguins.
The memorial service for Dannah is being held at Steam Valley Bible Church, Trout Run, on Monday, August 31, 2015. The viewing is at 1:00 p.m. and the service is at 2:00 p.m.with the interment following at White Pine Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a light dinner to follow.
