Constance M. Black, 83, of Liberty, passed away Christmas Day, five days after her beloved husband, Charles Black Sr., at The Green Home, Wellsboro, both due to complications of Covid-19.
Constance was born in Morris, September 16, 1937, one of five children of the late John and Kathryn Patt.
She and Charles Black Sr. were united in marriage on August 27, 1955.
Constance was employed by Wundies Inc. in Liberty, until the closing in 1995.
She enjoyed crafting, scrap booking, cooking and baking, working in her garden and watching the birds. She liked listening to a variety of music, including country and rock and roll. Her utmost joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren,” the kids”.
Constance is survived by her children; Diane (Jeff) Williammee, Bath, NY, Don (Susan) Black, Athens, Lucille (Tom) Lyons, Sayre, and Charles Black Jr., Williamsport, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Also, by a sister Shirley Wells, Blossburg.
Due to Covid-19 a combined memorial service for Constance and her husband, Charles Black Sr. will be announced at a later date.
