Carol Korisher

Carol Korisher , 64, of Liberty, passed away Monday, March 9, 2015.

Born December 24, 1950 in Scranton; she was the daughter of Elmer and Antionette Petgavage Locke.

Carol was married to William Korisher; he preceded her in death on February 4, 2015.

Carol Korisher was an amazing woman and the best mother anybody could have asked for. She was an angel made human, a gift from God, to humanity. She was a shining light in my darkest hours and with her guiding hand, gave me the strength to carry on through the most troubling of times. With her teachings, I will carry on her legacy of kindness and generosity. She was truly a fine example of all the goodness that exists in this world. Mom, I will love and miss you, always and forever, your loving son, Larry.

Surviving Carol is a daughter Antionette  Steinmetz and a son Larry Rosar, ten grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, sisters; Antionette Scotti and Doris Perry.

Funeral services were held Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2 p.m. from the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg. Interment followed in Union Cemetery, Roaring Branch.
