Brenda Kay Blackwell

Brenda Kay Blackwell, age 58, of Oregon Hill, passed away Tuesday, March 16,2021, at her home surrounded by her family.

Brenda was born May 21, 1962, in Wellsboro, the daughter of Robert and Jane Teed Phelps.

On June 14, 1980 at the Salem-St. Paul Church she married Kurtis Blackwell, he survives and lives at Oregon Hill.

Brenda was employed by Dr. Robert Bair of Wellsboro as a dental assistant.

Surviving in addition to her husband Kurtis, are her parents, Robert and Jane Phelps, Morris; her son Brandon and his wife Jami Blackwell, of Wellsboro; grandchildren Whitney, Willow, Logan and Layton Blackwell; sister Lillian (Ed) Smith, Wellsboro and their children Alicia and Nathan; brother Jeff (Bonnie) Phelps, Oregon Hill and their children Janelle and Blair.

Brenda was preceded in death by a son Nicholas J. Blackwell on April 14,2014

A graveside memorial service for family will be held at a later date.
