Betty Hebe

Betty Hebe,93, of Liberty, passed away at the Williamsport Hospital on Thursday, July 4th, 2024.  She was born in Arnot PA on March 28, 1931 to William and Susie Anderson.  She married Harold Hebe on April 11, 1953 and celebrated 68 years of marriage before his passing in November 2021.  She lived in Liberty for 71 years.  She worked for the Foundry and then for Wundies for 28 years.  She was one of the first employees hired at Wundies and she retired when they closed the Liberty factory in 1995.  Betty loved being with her family.  She loved being involved with her community and her church.  Surviving is a sister, Agnes Stock of Liberty, son Ken Hebe (Glenda) of Liberty, daughter Lisa Dillon of Liberty, and daughter Denise Hopkins (Stuart) of Liberty, 5 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.  Betty is predeceased by her husband Harold and grandson Josh Dillon.  Services will be held at East Point Ebenezer Church on Friday July 12.  Visitation starts at 10 am and a church service will follow.  Interment will be held at Arnot Swedish Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg.
