Bernard “Bernie” Williams age 74, of Liberty formerly of Morris, passed away peacefully in his sleep while at his home on Wednesday September 18th.
Bernie was born November 21,1949 in Wellsboro and was raised in Morris, PA.
Bernie’s wife Marcie Mase Williams survives and lives in Liberty.
Bernie was a member of Nessmuk Rod and Gun, Corning Fish and Game Club, and Lambs Creek Sportsmen’s Club.
When he was not spending time with his family he was enjoying hunting, fishing and shooting with his friends.
Bernie loved sitting upstairs in his gun room faithfully reading his bible.
Surviving in addition to his wife Marcie is a daughter Jill Harris and her daughter Allison DuVall , a son Lon Williams and his four sons, a great grandchild Greyson DuVall, a brother John Williams, and nephews; Patrick Williams and Adam Williams
Bernie was preceded in death by his parents Anthony and Lorna Butler Williams Sr. brothers, Michael Williams and Anthony Williams Jr. and his grandson Spencer DuVall
Family and friends will be received Saturday September 21st at the Mount Pleasant Church, Morris from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m. Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. with Keith Martin officiating. Interment will be at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
