Bernard F. Stachowski

Bernard F. Stachowski, 68, of Morris Run, passed away December 30, 2014 at the Bath V.A.

Born September 23, 1946 he was the son of the late Floyd and Genevieve Beaderman Stachowski.

He severed with the U.S. Army.

He was the manager of the Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post # 167, Morris Run.

Mr. Stachowski was a member of St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church, Blossburg, his other memberships include; Theodore Roosevelt American Legion Post # 167, Morris Run,  Veterans of Foreign Wars Supreme Sacrifice Post #8730, Blossburg, Arnot Sportsmen’s Club, and Hillside Rod and Gun Club, Blossburg.

He was known as an avid hunter and fisherman.

Surviving Mr. Stachowski are sisters; Bernadine Youmans and her husband Keith of Morris Run, and Kathleen Fenner and her husband David of  Maiden, NC. also by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his brother Francis William “Bill” Stachowski in 2000 and a special friend Clara Pecynski

A Memorial Mass will be held   Saturday, January 10, 2015 at 11 a.m. from   St. Mary’s Czestochowa Church, Blossburg, with Father Jacek J. Bialkowski as celebrant.

Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Morris Run.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Joseph Cemetery % Holy Child Parish, 242 South Main St. Mansfield, 16933.
