Barbara Acker

Barbara Acker, 68, of Blossburg, passed away Monday, August 24, 2015. Born August 10, 1948, in Gray, Kentucky; she was the daughter of Crit and Jean Brock Banks. She was married to Terry Wood; he preceded her in death on June 21, 2015. Barbara was a loving mother and best friend, and a loving wife to her late husband. Surviving are her children: Hailey Wood, Blossburg, Terry Wood, Blossburg, Kerry Wagner, Jacksonville, FL.,Shirley Acker, Georgia, Danny Acker, Jacksonville, FL., Bill Fields, Green Cove, FL., and adopted daughter Cassi Shelman, Blossburg; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. All services are private and will be held at the convenience of her family.
