Robert Eugene Berguson

Robert E. Berguson (Bob), lifelong resident of Arnot, PA, passed away on August 25, 2018 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center. Bob was born July 17, 1937 in Blossburg, PA. He was the son of John and Edith Johnson Berguson.

He was a 1955 graduate of Blossburg High School. He was employed for 48 years in the manufacturing industry in various management positions. He retired from Keystone Parts Mfg. Co. in June, 2004. Bob was a life member of Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Arnot, and he was a long time member of its council. He was also a previous treasurer of the Swedish Cemetery Association. He loved his family, and he enjoyed flower gardening.

Bob married his loving wife, Sandy, on Valentine’s Day, February 14, 1959. Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Sandra, daughters Rhonda (Kevin) Borden of Wellsboro, Julie (Elias) Corral of Glenwood Springs, CO, and son Rodney E. Berguson of Arnot. Grandchildren Amanda Borden of Gaithersburg, MD, Amber (William) McClain of Jersey Shore, PA, and Randy Corral of Glenwood Springs, CO. sister Bertha Young of Clinton, NY. Sisters-in-law; Ruth Berguson of Arnot, Iris Berguson of Mansfield, and Geraldine Plank of Liberty. He also had several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by an infant granddaughter, Jessica Marie Corral, sisters; Agnes Kendrick and Ethel Thompson, brothers; Walter, Gordon, Harold, John, Donald, and infant brother John, and sister-in-law Charlene Miller.

There will be no prior visitation. Memorial services will be private with family and relatives at Freeberg Funeral Home in Blossburg on Thursday, August 30^th at 6:30 p.m. with Rev. Sandra Olson officiating. The family welcomes flowers.
