Phyllis Roupp, 97, of Mansfield died January 18, 2019 in The Green Home after a month of struggling with pneumonia. Her family was able to gather around her for loving support and comfort.
She was born in Huxley, Alberta, Canada on October 7, 1921 and married the late Glenn Roupp of Mansfield. They were retired farmers from Liberty.
Phyllis is survived by her four children: Margaret (Bill) Auwarter of Mansfield, PA., Millie (Robert) Best of Mechanicsburg, PA., Glenna (Robert) Powell of Mansfield, PA, and LaVerne (Connie) Roupp of Liberty, PA. She has 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great grandchildren.
She treasured her family and loved God and his creations; Her Bible was precious to her. She enjoyed cooking, baking, watching birds and making quilts for the Williamsport Hospital. Having a great sense of humor; she shared it often with others.
Family and friends will be received Friday January 25th at the Freeberg Funeral Home, Blossburg, from 6-8p.m.,an additional viewing will be held Saturday, January 26th at the Tabernacle Baptist Church in Tioga, PA. from 1-2p.m. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. with Pastor Steven Neff officiating. A light luncheon will follow the service. A private Interment will take place at Union Cemetery, Liberty.
