Laurie (Cogley) Mistretta, 52, of Linden, lost a courageous battle with cancer on Friday April 27, 2018 surrounded by family and friends.
Laurie was born in Williamsport, at Divine Providence Hospital, on Nov. 28, 1965. Laurie graduated from Williamsport Area High School, class of 1983. She is most known for being a great cook and has worked for many established restaurants in Williamsport. She adored spending time with her grandchildren Syerra, Brianna and Quincere and was referred to as Gigi.
Laurie is survived by her father, Charles Cogley, of Linden; her daughter Miranda Mistretta, of Williamsport; sisters Janet (Cogley) Wood and Kimberly (Cogley) Wood, both of Linden; a brother, Tracey Cogley, of Williamsport; nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Laurie was preceded in death by her mother Joan Cogley and her niece Melissa Cogley.
A celebration of her life will be held on Sunday May 6th at 2:00 p.m., at All Saints Episcopal Church, 1656 Scott St. Williamsport, PA 17701.
A luncheon and music will directly follow in the Parish Hall of the church.
Family will provide flowers and donations in memory of Laurie can be made to the American Cancer Society.
