Dorothy Grimes

 Dorothy Grimes, 89, formerly of Steam Valley, passed away peacefully, Thursday, November 23rd at Carleton Senior Care in Wellsboro.

Dorothy was born September 24, 1928 in Williamsport.

She had been employed as a cook for Fry Turkey Ranch, Trout Run.

She was Church of Christ in her faith.

Dorothy enjoyed times spent with her grandkids and great-grandkids; she also liked playing cards and word search puzzles.

Survivors include her children: Guy Hall, Williamsport, Ellen (Jim) Route, Liberty, Edward Grimes, Lillington, NC, and Dot Rakoski, Blossburg; a daughter Carol Dirk, preceded her in death. Other survivors are 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and brothers William Glass, Philip Goudy, and Jimmy Goudy.

Funeral Services will be privately held, Interment will be at Steam Valley Cemetery.
