Stephen "Steve" P. White

Stephen "Steve" P. White, 60, of Blossburg, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, December 11, 2023, at UPMC Williamsport. He was the loving husband of 34 years to Mary F. (Sindlinger) White.

Born on January 6, 1963 in Wellsboro, he was a son of the late Howard White and Eleanor Mae Clark.

Steve attended Wellsboro High School and served with the Army National Guard. He was self-employed as an auto mechanic and previously employed by Ward Manufacturing and Glenn O. Hawbaker Inc.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his son, Darren White of Mansfield; grandchildren, Damian White and Waverly Ippolito; sisters, Bonnie (Kevin) Clark of Corning, NY, Janice White of Wellsboro, Faith (Stanley) Schreier of Seneca Falls, NY, Rebecca (Roger) Coyle of Ovid, NY, Mary Jane (Luke) Smith of Florida, and Sharon White of Texas; brothers, Daniel White of Mansfield, Silas (Suzanne) White of Elmira, NY, and John White of Elmira, NY; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Frank White and sister, Linda Wilson.

Steve was a hard-working man that valued his family first. One of his greatest joys was his time spent with his grandson Damian and cherished his relationship he had with his father-in-law, Howard Sindlinger.

Visitation will be held 1 - 3 p.m. on Friday, December 22 at Freeberg Funeral Home, 120 N. Williamson Road, Blossburg, PA with fellowship following at the Kiwanis Building, Island Park.
