Alden "Jake" Pequignot Obituary

Alden Romaine “Jake” Pequignot, 78, of Blossburg, passed away peacefully at home, Thursday, November 16, 2023.

Born April 18, 1945 in Wellsboro, the son of Harold Dean and Marceil Patt Pequignot.

He and his wife Sarah shared 46 years of wonderful marriage.

He served with the Army National Guard and was Baptist by faith. He was a member of Hillside Rod and Gun Club of Blossburg.

He was employed as a truck driver for 55 years.

When “Jake’ was mowing the grass, he always had his helper with him, Shadow, his toy poodle. Shadow helped with grass cutting for 13 years.

“Jake” had a love for Wheel Horse and John Deere tractors, but above all his Ford trucks.

Surviving in addition to his wife, Sarah; are his sisters, Bonnie (Dean) Ritt and Sharon (Bill) Hall; brother, Gus (Kathy) Pequignot; children, Shanane, John, Mark, and Selinna; granddaughters, Savannah, Allie, and Kristy.

All services will be privately held.
